Evidence based on content, response process, and internal structure, as well as reliability and temporal stability, were evaluated. It was concluded that 26-item PNSS-S-B distributed into six subscales (Autonomy Satisfaction, Autonomy Frustration, Competence Satisfaction, Competence Frustration, Relatedness Satisfaction and Relatedness Frustration) can be used to evaluate the perception of satisfaction and frustration of needs states among athletes in the Brazilian sport context regardless of sex, age group, and type of sport. |
