Summary:ObjectiveThe research of the working stress field of the bearing raceway is an important basis for the fatigue life analysis of rolling bearings.MethodsThe contact stress distribution between the rolling element and the inner ring raceway of 7008C bearing was obtained by analyzing the contact and deformation between the rolling element and the raceway, and by establishing and solving the bearing quasi-statics equations. On this basis, the finite element model of the working stress field of the raceway was established using the Ansys Workbench. The influence of working conditions on the maximum shear stress distribution was analyzed.ResultsThe results show that the No.1 rolling element with an azimuth of 0° has the maximum load. With the increase of axial force and radial force, the peak value of the maximum shear stress shows an increasing trend, and the depth of the peak value gradually approaches the raceway surface. With the increase of the working speed, the peak value decreases, and the depth gradually moves away from the raceway surface.
