| Summary: | Abstract: The village Umbulmartani, Jalan Kaliurang KM 14, District Ngemplak, Sleman as one of the fast growing area in Sleman which are spatially growth. The higher the density of the building from time to time, there are demands that the dilai this area still leaves laha for catching rainwater for the preservation ligkungan. It also appears the phenomenon of a shift in activity or community activities in the area of agriculture to non-agricultural fields. This research receipts Rasioalistik Qualitative research approach, using theoretical basis Yag used to direct the study. Qualitative research methods were used in this study is a historical research methods. Yag theory presented Rapoport (1969) regarding the factors that determine the architectural embodiment of settlements into the main theory in this study. Purpose of this study was to determine and explain what kind of trend in the spatial development of settlements in the region is growing rapidly with case studies Umbulmartani Village, Jalan Kaliurang KM 14, District Ngemplak, Sleman. |
