Description
Summary:The documentaries of the Spanish Transition built a discourse on Francoism and the Civil War with the aim of producing memory. It was not until the crisis of 2008 and the subsequent explosion of the 15M movement in 2011 that the cinema of the real returned to the audiovisual avant-garde. The cartography made on this period is born in May 2011 and concludes with the latest releases in 2013, this time through the Internet. The images are the same : interviews, demonstrations, encampments, assemblies ; a direct access to the « real » that once again legitimizes the urgency of building memory from the present. In this study, we will examine the resources employed in two documentaries made between 2011 and 2012. Our objective is to analyze how the passage of time from the Transition to the 15M movement is represented in the indignant movement. To do so, we will focus on two of the numerous documentaries on the indignant movement : Indignados : del 15M al 20N (by Antoni Verdaguer, 2011) and 15M : Excellent, revulsive, important (by Stéphane Grueso, 2012).
