| Summary: | This research analyzes the ability of a community to manage its resources to anticipate stunting. Based on Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 72 of 2021, stunting is defined as impaired growth and development of children due to chronic malnutrition and recurrent infections, which is characterized by their body length or height being below the standards set by the minister who handles government affairs in the health sector. Stunting is a serious problem because it impacts a child's physical and psychological development. The community that is the object of research is Banjar Seminai Village in Dayun District, Siak Regency. At the Riau Province level, the stunting prevalence trend has decreased quite drastically from 36.8% in 2013 to 14% in 2023. For Siak Regency itself, there has been an increase in stunting prevalence of around 0.33%. However, Banjar Seminai Village is one of the villages in Siak Regency that claims to have succeeded in reducing the stunting rate by 2023. This research was conducted by interviewing village/village communities who are actively involved in overcoming the stunting problem in their area, such as the village head, village orderlies, and Posyandu cadres.
