We derive a lower-bound outage probability expression for single-user OTFS transmission over Rician time-varying channels and show that numerical simulations align with the analytical expression. We analyze the impact of the OTFS parameters M and N on the achievable rate and demonstrate that, for a fixed delay-Doppler channel, the achievable rate is primarily determined by the SNR, rather than the specific values of M and N. We also provide outage analysis over block time-varying channels and show the impact of number of channel blocks on channel diversity. Finally, we extend our analysis to single-user multi-antenna OTFS transmissions. |
