description The article discusses the significance of collaboration between preschools and parents in the context of a child’s psychosocial development. The authors emphasize that child development is a multidimensional process influenced by internal and external factors (e.g., genetic) and environmental factors (e.g., environmental). Preschool and family constitute two key educational environments, and collaboration between them is essential to ensure optimal conditions for the child’s development and preparation for further education. The article presents quantitative research results conducted on a group of 64 parents. The findings indicate that the participants expect direct contact with teachers and regular updates on their child’s functioning and development. According to the authors, there is a need for further refinement of the methods of cooperation between preschools and parents to better address the needs of both children and their parents. The article highlights the necessity of adopting various forms of collaboration, such as workshops, informational meetings, and participation in preschool events, which aim to integrate parents with the preschool and foster collective efforts toward the child’s development. Parents expect that the forms of cooperation and communication channels will be tailored to their professional and personal needs.
