Summary:Due to the good performance of large speed reducing ratio and smoothness in operation,worm gear reducer is wildly used in industry.Traditionally,it will take a long time to check the wear on the worm and worm wheel in the shutdown period of worm gearing.Based on the vibration measurement and analysis of worm gear reducer,a new monitoring method is put forward for wear of worm and worm wheel.By the proposed method,good performance of online monitoring as well as wear separate analysis for worm and worm wheel is achieved,and is verified by the field test and analysis.
