Eating behavior is a special form of interaction between an individual and food, including a complex of unconditioned reflexes and conscious decisions that determines the amount and composition of food eaten under various conditions. The authors undertook an analysis of current data regarding the classification of eating disorders, as well as known methods of diagnostic evaluation.
