| description | This article analyses the socio-technical trajectory of the legitimisation of agrivoltaics, an innovation that aims to reconcile agricultural and energy production on the same plot of land using photovoltaic panels. This analysis is based on three main sources : the media, scientific knowledge and technical devices. Firstly, this work shows that agrivolatics raison d’être is constructed in response to the difficulties of developing ground-mounted photovoltaics, and then through the technical and scientific viability of the shadow cast by solar panels on agricultural productivity. Secondly, while the process of legitimisation is not yet complete, this article identifies the emergence of controversies, an argument that reflects the lessons learned from the controversies surrounding the energisation of agriculture by the players in its sector, and then a political implementation of this innovation that takes account of these new arguments. |
