Summary:The paper presents the first data on ore mineralization in rocks of the promising area near the town of Rashad, Republic of Sudan. The metasomatic rocks contain pyrrhotite, pentlandite, pyrite, galena, chalcopyrite, sphalerite, arsenopyrite, hematite, magnetite, anglesite, leucoxene, Ag sulfosalts (freibergite, pyrargyrite), Ag and Pb tellurides (hessite and altaite), native gold and bismuth. The fineness of gold varies from low to high.
