Summary:Improvements on the basis of traditional genetic algorithms,combined with the advantages of niche algorithm and genetic algorithm,a niche genetic algorithm for optimization of mechanical design is proposed.This algorithm is used in real machinery organization for verification.The result show that this improved genetic algorithm for optimal design of steering mechanism of automotive air suspension has a strong practical value.
