| Summary: | The article highlights the author’s position regarding the algorithms for structuring the scientific outlook, as a category characterized by multidimensionality and a complex multifunctional composition. The purpose of the study was to highlight the content and components of the scientific outlook of teachers from the perspective of the professional activity of future teachers of science and mathematics specialties. The scientific outlook of the future teacher of natural and mathematical specialties is represented by a multicomponent synthetic construct, that reproduces its essential features at the intersection of the coordinates of the “personal / professional” dichotomy; assumes the presence of a methodological and innovative professional culture, systematic and logical scientific thinking, reflectiveness of the individual and the teacher’s desire for self-development, self-realization and selfimprovement in professional and pedagogical activities; functions as a dynamic synthesis of scientific-researchanalytical and pedagogical-methodical skills, which allow to overcoming discreteness in the formation of specialized (science-mathematical) and general-specialist competences (pedagogical, didactic, methodologicalresearch) of a science-mathematics teacher; provides comprehensive updating of scientific information in pedagogy, mathematics, physics, natural science, biology and physiology, teaching methods of professional disciplines, which leads to the student’s awareness of the holistic nature of natural and mathematical sciences as a scientific and socio-cultural phenomenon; records the deployment of a multi-vector research search with the aim of developing an individual scientific strategy for teaching natural and mathematical disciplines; produces the teacher’s ability to actualize interdisciplinary connections in the system of natural and mathematical sciences; provides an adequate selection of personalized methods of teaching science and mathematics disciplines, developed on the basis of the activation of cognitive self-projection of the future science and mathematics teacher as a scientist and researcher. The epistemological and professional component of the scientific outlook of the future teacher of science and mathematics majors captures the practical implementation dimension of science and mathematics and pedagogical activity (arsenal of scientific and research tools). The scientificmethodological component of the scientific outlook of the future teacher of natural and mathematical specialties expresses the specialist’s ability to build the plane of professional activity on the correct methodological basis, relying on the formed innovative-professional and methodical-methodological culture. The acmeologically selfdetermining component of the scientific outlook of the future teacher of science and mathematics specialties records the specialist’s personal parameters that determine the success of his professional and pedagogical activities within the scope of science and mathematics didactics and is realized by the formed reflexivity of the specialist’s personality and his desire for self-development, self-improvement and self-realization. |
