| Summary: | The q-axis leakage inductance Ls is always used in the control of induction motor. The parameters generally come from the analysis and calculation of the magnetic field or magnetic path, so some errors are hard to avoid. It’s very important to measure the value of the motor leakage inductance by experiment because the motor manufacturers usually don’t provide it. In this article, a method of measuring induction motor q-axis leakage inductance Ls is proposed, and its key points and operation process are introduced. The experimental results prove that this method can accurately calculate Ls. |
