Summary:With the widespread application of conjugated dienes, there were higher requirements for the performance of poly(conjugated dienes) rubber. By adjusting polymerization pathway, specific polymer chain structures could be obtained to meet diverse industrial needs. The research progress in regulation of chain structure of conjugated dienes by neodymium based catalytic systems were reviewed with 29 references, with a focus on the regulation of configuration selectivity and molecular weight and their distribution of conjugated dienes by chain transfer polymerization methods in coordination polymerization. The copolymerization of polar monomers and olefin monomers catalyzed by neodymium based catalytic systems were summarized.
