Harmonic Comparison and Analysis on Traction and Brake Condition of AC Drive Electric Locomotive

Four-quadrant converter system of AC drive electric locomotive was stated, and input current harmonic distribution under traction and brake condition was analyzed, which was proved consistent by simulation and experimental results.
