| Summary: | The article considers various approaches to regulation of information services in the conditions of digitalization. It indicates the presence of two conceptual approaches to identifying areas of support for the development of information services, characteristic, respectively, for the industrialized countries of Europe and North America, on the one hand, and for the states of the Far Eastern region, on the other. Within the Anglo-Saxon model framework, the main attention is paid to the institutional and infrastructural support of the information services market, which is manifested in the creation of an “information superhighway” and its service, in the European (continental) model the emphasis is on creating uniform supranational information services markets and termination of “information enequality” , The Asian model is focused on a tighter approach to regulating the market for information services based on the provision of interrelations between traditional values and transformational changes characteristic of the digital economy era. |
