| Summary: | This study explores factors influencing consumers’ willingness to purchase used electric vehicles by integrating the Theory of Planned Behavior and the Technology Acceptance Model. A quantitative survey was conducted, and the data were analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. Key factors include perceived usefulness, which shapes attitudes toward technology acceptance, and perceived ease of use, emphasizing convenience and simplicity. Environmental concerns foster sustainable preferences, while charging infrastructure addresses usability challenges. Price perception and behavioral control significantly impact purchase intentions by enhancing confidence and highlighting cost savings. Mediation analyses reveal pathways, with perceived usefulness and ease of use affecting attitudes and intentions both directly and indirectly. Subjective norms have limited influence, reflecting the utilitarian nature of used purchases. Practical recommendations include improving usability and awareness, refining pricing, and enhancing charging infrastructure to support the growing secondary market for electric vehicles. This research provides actionable insights for advancing the secondary market for electric vehicles. |
