Description
Summary:Through the study of the evolution of women’s movements, their demands and their strategies of action, we propose to evaluate one after another, their gains, their limits and the scope of local, national and international mobilisations. In what way have Latin American women profited from the spheres opened by debates on citizenship and human rights? Has their mobilisation translated into a greater capacity to influence the institutionalisation of public politics? What obstacles have they met? What have they obtained? What is left to them to demand? What are their stakes at the start of the twenty-first century?
