Four species: Stenoptilodes brevipennis (Zeller, 1874), Adaina costarica Gielis, 1992, Adaina desolata Arenberger & Bond, 1995 and Hellinsia devriesi (Landry & Gielis, 1992) are recorded for the fauna of Venezuela for the first time.
