description For the problem that partial feedback energy of decentralized power supply system not be completely reused by subway owners, it analyzed the characteristics of urban rail traction power supply system and proposed a scheme of regenerative braking energy storage system. It uses super-capacitors for energy storage and adopts Buck and Boost dual-mode closed-loop control, well adapting to the characteristics of urban rail train such as frequent start / braking, short-term braking power, short duration and small braking power. The results of research tests and vehicle running tests verified the functional and performance characteristics of the system.
