description How did major US news outlets frame the targeted killings? This study examines how major U.S. newspapers framed the assassinations of Osama Bin Laden and Qassem Soleimani, aiming to identify their stances and highlighted themes. Employing Bloch-Elkon's approach (2007), we analyzed 450 news articles from The Washington Post (192), The New York Times (171), and The Wall Street Journal (87). The findings reveal that the media favored Bin Laden more in both analyzed periods and emphasized security-related themes in both cases.
