Description
Summary:Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a highly selective, non-invasive treatment of diseased tissue with cosmetic benefit, and is one of the first choice for the treatment of local solar keratosis. However, PDT has a longer single treatment time, possibly causing adverse reactions such as local erythema and itching. This paper mainly reviews recent advances in the application of PDT in the treatment of AK, such as combining with different light sources, shortening incubation and light exposure time, and pre-preparation, in order to provide a better choice in clinical practice.
