| Summary: | The history of Annecy’s stud farm merges with to the one of the duchy of Savoy, being sometimes under the french state and sometimes under the piedmontese state from the XVIIIth to the end of the XIXth century. There are two consequences: the scattering of indirect funds, notwithstanding the stud farm’s funds itself, which has been saved by the departmental archives of the Haute-Savoie in 2001 and 2009. This history is marked by milestones like the public interest for a royal farm stud in the kingdom of the Piedmontese-Sardinia (1777), the construction of Annecy’s farm stud (1876-1885) until the closing down in september 2009. |
