Summary:Through analyzing the extra loads on reaction rod ball joint under axle-hung motor driving and braking condition, the radial fatigue load spectrum was established. This article illustrated the way of analyzing and calculating initial design conditions, and the way of translating the simulation results into the fatigue loads was also presented. The process of load spectrum was high applied value.
