, where she founded and directs the Center for Computer-Mediated Communication. In 2013 she received the
Association for Information Science & Technology
Research Award for her contributions to the field of
computer-mediated communication
. She has been a fellow at the
Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences
at
Stanford University
. Herring also founded and directed the BROG project.
