John Wildman

The caption reads ''nil admirari'' ("astonished at nothing") Sir John Wildman (2 June 1693) was an English politician, republican activist and soldier. A prominent Leveller during the English Civil War, he helped draft the ''Agreement of the People'' and later engaged in political intrigue under the Commonwealth, Protectorate, and after the Restoration of the Monarchy. Surviving multiple imprisonments, he served as a member of Parliament and as Postmaster General under William III. Provided by Wikipedia
