Description
Summary:The review examines the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of Hirschsprung-associated enterocolitis in children operated for colonic agangliosis. It describes the features of microbiota in these patients, the role of Clostridium difficile in the etiology and pathogenesis of pathological conditions, options of perioperative antibiotic prophylaxis, and drug prescription timing. Analysis of original research results has shown that the issue of optimization of the perioperative antibacterial therapy in reconstructive surgery for colonic agangliosis in children is relevant at the moment.
