| Summary: | Currently, there are many mature surgical techniques for the treatment ofacromioclavicular joint dislocation, but most of them involve establishing bony tunnel by drilling the coracoid or clavicle, which increases the risk of fractures. This Technical Note describes an arthroscopic surgical technique for acute acromioclavicular joint dislocation that uses 2 high-strength ORTHOCORD sutures to achieve reduction of the dislocated joint. This technique avoids drilling holes in the clavicle or coracoid, thereby reducing the likelihood of fracture-related complications. |
