| Summary: | In consideration of the fact that 4 kW DC bus converter on airplane has large output current and the secondary winding of its transformer needs in parallel to bear high current, it designed a planner transformer. By adopting a transformer structure adapted to current-double rectifier, the number of turns increases, the current decreases, and the current share becomes easier for the parallel windings. A method to obtain transformer winding by copper fold was proposed, by which the area and the temperature rise of turn-to-turn connectors could decrease. The primary and secondary windings are embedded each other in a reasonable way, which decreases the additional loss caused by proximity effect and keeps the balance of the magnetomotive force of parallel windings. Experimental results show that the planar transformer temperature rise is about 40 ℃ and can work under the conidition of 70 ℃ when the output power is 4 kW. |
