| description | Objective To evaluate the implementation of quality sensitive indicators in the quality control in the central sterile supply department. Methods Since May 2018, a management model based on quality sensitive indicators had been launched in the central sterile supply department. The qualified rate of aseptic instruments, the qualified rate of instrument testing and the quality indicators in the central sterile supply department were compared before and after the implementation of management model based on quality sensitive indicators. Results After implementation of management model based on quality sensitive indicators, the qualified rate of aseptic instruments and the qualified rate of instrument testing were higher than those before implementation (P＜0. 01). Higher quailed rates of instruments recycling, packaging, distribution, washing, sterilization and other procedures were found after implementation (P＜ 0. 05). Conclusion In the prevention of nosocomial infection, the management model based on quality sensitive indicators is potentially effective to improve the qualified rates of instruments recycling, packaging, cleaning and sterilization, and ensure the disinfection quality of equipment.
