This paper aims to assess their collaboration from the perspective of reliability, which is vital for the mill’s overall economic growth and operational efficiency. Reliability measures concerning the system, such as mean time to system failure (MTSF), availability, busy period of the repair person, expected time for preventive maintenance, and expected down time of the system, are derived by applying the semi-Markov process and the regenerative point technique. The system's profitability is analyzed through graphs, and a sensitivity analysis is conducted to evaluate the impact of variations in system parameters on its overall performance, particularly regarding MTSF and availability. |
